Jesus wore a robe. Contrary to contemporary belief, robes in ancient times were not confined to clergy and the courts and formal gatherings. Robes at the time were worn by everyone, from the most humble servant to the most powerful of rulers. Jesus’ robe is often depicted as seamless. That is, made of a single piece of cloth, as opposed to other robes that were sewn from several pieces, connected at the side, sort of like a quilt. Jesus had a cloak. In addition to the robe, people of Jesus’ time wore cloaks over it to serve as protection from the elements when travelling, the robe being insufficient in keeping out the blistering heat of midday and the biting cold when temperatures dropped at night. This indispensable item of clothing of travellers was a must-have. For biblical accuracy, you may opt to have blue tassels at the corners of your cloak, as Jesus did. Jesus also wore sandals. Sandals have long been the footwear of choice throughout history for their comfort. They come in all shapes and materials.
